Privacy Policy
This policy covers two separate things: what happens to the mail in a temporary inbox, and what this website collects while you browse it. They have very different answers, so they are described separately.

1. Temporary inbox data
When you generate an inbox, the service stores the following for as long as that inbox is active:
- The temporary email address
- A hash of the private access token issued to your browser
- Creation and expiry timestamps
- Received messages: sender, subject, body content and previews
- Attachment metadata — filename, MIME type and approximate size
Retention is about 15 minutes. After the expiry timestamp the inbox stops accepting mail, and scheduled cleanup deletes the stored records shortly afterwards. Because cleanup runs on a schedule rather than at an exact second, deletion happens a short time after expiry rather than precisely on it.
Expired data is not archived, backed up for later retrieval, or recoverable on request. We cannot restore an expired inbox for you, and we cannot identify who created one after it is gone.
Attachments
Attachment files are not offered as downloads through the inbox interface. Only the name, type and size are displayed. This limits risk from unsafe files arriving in a throwaway inbox.
Message content is not private from the service
To display a message in your browser, the service must be able to read it. There is no end-to-end encryption of inbound mail, and no design in which there could be — the sender is an arbitrary third party holding no key of yours. Treat a temporary inbox as unsuitable for anything confidential.
2. No account, and what that does and doesn't mean
Generating an inbox requires no registration. We do not ask for your name, phone number, permanent email address or payment details, and we do not have a user account database.
That does not make use of the service anonymous. Operating any website involves processing connection metadata, described next.
3. Infrastructure and security logs
The service runs on Cloudflare — Workers for application logic, Email Routing for inbound mail, and D1 for short-lived storage. Cloudflare acts as a processor for this traffic and, along with our own abuse controls, may process request metadata including:
- IP address
- User agent string
- Country and ASN
- Rate-limit counters and abuse signals
- Error and performance logs
This processing is necessary for security, abuse prevention, routing and reliability. Retention of these logs follows Cloudflare's own schedules, which are shorter than would be needed to reconstruct an expired inbox.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses the following categories:

5. Advertising
This site is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. Specifically:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.

Advertising is separated from editorial content, and advertisers have no influence over what is published here. See the editorial policy.
6. Consent
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message before non-essential cookies are set, and can accept, reject, or manage their choices. That choice can be changed at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will cause the consent prompt to appear again on your next visit.
Where consent is the legal basis, it can be withdrawn at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Where processing is necessary for security and abuse prevention, the legal basis is legitimate interests.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. California residents have rights of access and deletion, and a right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal information as that term is defined.
An important practical limit: because temporary inbox data is deleted within roughly fifteen minutes and holds no identity linkage, we usually cannot locate data relating to a specific person after the fact. There is no account to look you up by. Requests can still be sent to support@fasttempmail.org and will be answered, including where the answer is that no data remains.
8. Data transfers
The service uses global infrastructure, so processing may occur in countries other than your own, including the United States. Transfers rely on the safeguards operated by our processors, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
9. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Because there is no registration, we cannot verify age at signup.
10. What not to use this service for
Do not use a temporary inbox for banking, healthcare, insurance, government or tax services, legal matters, employment or school accounts, password recovery, or any account you may need to regain access to later. Inboxes expire by design and expired messages cannot be recovered. This is stated as a privacy matter as well as a practical one: routing sensitive mail through a short-lived third-party inbox exposes it unnecessarily.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will change and a notice will appear on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
